A luminary is technically anything that gives off light. For our purposes, we are making paper lanterns with a light source, or candle, inside to illuminate the paper. There are hundreds of different uses for luminaries, but they are mostly used to give off light or to add warmth and ambiance. Stop by the Creation Station any time this month to make a winter village luminary, perfect for illuminating your gloomy and cold January nights. We provide the supplies, step-by-step instructions, and Cricut Maker, you provide the creativity! This program is free and open to the public. Call 577-7323 for more information. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult to make this craft.
