JEX 111: Tape Measure Skills is an introductory online, self-guided workshop for the University of Wyoming Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace. Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. You'll need to attend this course either in-person or online. You can sign up for in-person or virtual instruction with the DVR Coordinator, Madison by emailing mgraulty@uwyo.edu.
By the end of the course, you should have a firm handle on:
- Understand and remember the parts of the tape measure
- Understand the different systems of units and how they apply to length
- Apply tape measure skills to take accurate measurements
- Understand assistive and adaptive technology in length measurements
Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. All of our equipment, hardware, and software requires that you complete SAF101 before use.
