Thanks for your interest in EE102: Intro to Arduino!
This is a quick online, self-guided workshop at the University of Wyoming Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace, and immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. EE102 introduces you to Arduino, very popular microcontrollers -- in essence, tiny computers -- made up of flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software that allow you to make all sorts of electronic projects to interact with the world through electronic sensors, lights, and motors. Arduino microcontrollers are designed for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. What you create is really only limited to your imagination!
By the end of the workshop, you should have a firm understanding of what Arduino microcontrollers are, how they work, how to effectively program in the Arduino software, and how to build a basic circuit.
Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
