Thanks for your interest in CRFT112: Introductory Janome HD 3000.
This is an online, self-guided workshop for the University of Wyoming Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace, and teaches you how to use Janome HD1000 sewing machines at any of our mobilke makerspaces! Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. CRFT110 can be found by enrolling in your local instance of the Maker Access Pass and navigating to Complete a Workshop > Crafting > Introductory to Janome HD 3000. You'll need to attend this course before you can use the Singer sewing machines at any MAP facility. CRFT112 covers how domestic sewing machines work, basic sewing machine anatomy, how to operate the Janome 3000, and best practices for using sewing machines.
Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
