Thanks for your interest in CAD102: Learning SolidWorks!

This is an online, self-guided advanced computer-aided design (CAD) workshop hosted at the University of Wyoming Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace, and teaches you how to get started using SolidWorks, the extremely versatile, powerful industry-leading CAD software. University of Wyoming students and staff are provided with SolidWorks licenses free of charge. Others without educational license access can use SolidWorks on one of our 20 laptops while in the Innovation Wyrkshop. Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. CAD102 can be found by enrolling in your local instance of the Maker Access Pass and navigating to Complete a Workshop > Modeling & Design > CAD102: Learning SolidWorks.

By the end of the 60 minute CAD102 workshop, you should have a firm understanding of the workflow necessary to begin CAD modeling in SolidWorks, as well as a few tips and tricks to ensure you're designing like a pro.

Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
