This is an online, self-guided workshop, and teaches you how to use the Glowforge laser cutter at any of the makerspaces around the state with available Glowforges! Please note that the Innovation Wyrkshop in Laramie does not have a Glowforge laser cutter.

Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. LAS101 can be found by enrolling in your local instance of the Maker Access Pass and navigating to Complete a Workshop > Laser> LAS101: Introductory to the Glowforge Laser Cutter. You'll need to attend this course before you can use the Glowforge laser cutter at any MAP facility. LAS101 covers basic safety and best uses for the Glowforge laser cutter.

Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
