Thanks for your interest in DEV101: Intro to Coding with Scratch!

This is an introductory online, self-guided course that's part of our Developer Training series hosted at the University of Wyoming Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace, and teaches you how to get started using Scratch, an excellent introductory, free, online block-coding software. Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. DEV101 can be found by enrolling in your local instance of the Maker Access Pass and navigating to Complete a Workshop Development & Coding > DEV101: Intro to Coding with Scratch.

By the end of the online, self-guided DEV101 workshop, you should have a firm understanding of what coding is, some vocab that is associated with coding, and be able to create your own program in Scratch using block coding.

Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
