Please note that immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. LAS110 can be found by enrolling in your local instance of the Maker Access Pass and navigating to Complete a Workshop > Lasers > LAS110: Introduction to the Epilog Fusion Pro Laser Cutters.

LAS110 teaches you how to use the Epilog Fusion Pro 48x36 dual 80W CO2, 30W Fiber laser cutter, which can be used to cut and engrave acrylic, plastic, wood, and most standard laser cutting materials. It can also be used to engrave metal, glass, stone, and reflective surfaces, including curved glassware. You'll need to attend this course either in-person or online before you can use the Epilog Fusion Pro unsupervised. As part of the LAS110 workshop, you'll learn all about how laser cutters and engravers work, basic laser cutter anatomy, how to operate the Fusion Pro laser cutter hardware and software, and best practices for using Innovation Wyrkshop laser cutters safely and responsibly. By the end of the lesson, you'll have a firm handle on:

1. The inherent risks associated with laser cutting, and how to avoid them
2. General tips and tricks to operate the Epilog Fusion Pro safely
3. What materials can be used by our Epilog Fusion Pro laser cutter
4. Using the Epilog Fusion Pro software
