Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. You'll need to attend this course either in-person or online. You can sign up for in-person or virtual instruction with the DVR Coordinator, Madison by emailing mgraulty@uwyo.edu.
By the end of the course, you should have a firm handle on:
- The four common materials used in construction.
- Their applications, similarities, and differences.
- A general idea of some trade specialties that utilize each material.
Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. All of our equipment, hardware, and software requires that you complete SAF101 before use.
