Thanks for your interest in SLA101: Introductory Formlabs Resin 3D Printers!
SLA101 is an online, self-guided 3D printing workshop for the University of Wyoming Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace. Immediately after signing up, you'll receive an email with the link and passcode to access the course. SLA101 can be found by enrolling in your local instance of the Maker Access Pass and navigating to Complete a Workshop > 3D Printing > SLA101: Introductory Formlabs Resin 3D Printers. SLA101 covers makerspace basics, 3D printing applications, Formlabs Form 2 and Form 3 resin 3D printer anatomy and operation, including materials and software. By the end of the 60 minute workshop, you should have a firm understanding of:
- What materials can be used by our Formlabs SLA 3D printers
- How the hardware and printers work together, and why it’s important to know about both.
- The workflow and software required to use the SLA 3D printers easily and effectively.
- How to post-process resin parts
Please make sure to enroll in the Maker Access Pass to ensure you receive a badge at the end of this course. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
